DoubleTree Beach Resort North Redington Beach

On a coastline with incredible barriers to entry — there have been only four beachfront hotels developed in Pinellas County in the past 20 years — OTO saw an incredible opportunity in this DoubleTree, which is nestled in an idyllic beach town in the heart of the thriving Tampa Bay region.

The property had been built to make the most of its frontage along the Gulf of Mexico, with the majority of guest rooms overlooking the beach and many on the non-Gulf side enjoying water views of Boca Ciega Bay. An extensive renovation made aesthetic updates to those rooms while also refreshing all common spaces including the lobby, waterfront meeting space, pool, and expansive outdoor deck. The restaurant and tiki hut were rebranded as Coconut Charlie’s Beach Bar &
Grill, OTO’s proprietary beach bar concept.

The renovated property did not re-flag, as this DoubleTree is one of only three beachfront Hilton-affiliated hotels in all of Southwest Florida.
